November 6th saw a spectacular launch of the
very eminent and illustrious Bollywood critic, author, Padma Shri Bhawana
Somaaya's 20th book, titled, Farewell Karachi, A Partition Memoir, published by
Bloomsbury at the beautiful lawns of Daga Nikunj, graciously hosted by
Alka Jalan of Alka Jalan Foundation. Organized by AVAHA Communications and
AVAHA Readers' & Writers' Club with the title sponsors being Sudhamta
Foundation India, Oindrilla Dutt of Open Doors was better than her best
steering the conversation with Uber elegance along with the chief guest, the
legend and iconic Aparna Sen, the much sought after Tollywood Director Actor
screenwriter Sudeshna Roy, the fiesty and gorgeous Political Activist author
and political commentator, Saira Shah Halim the ultra brilliant theatre
personality and writer, Tathagata Chowdhury and the young and enterprising
social activist Ted X Speaker and entrepreneur, Arumita Mitra.
