Patna: Bihar witnessed a record
voter turnout of 61–62% this election season — and much of the credit goes to
Neetu Chandra, the state’s SVEEP Icon appointed by the Election Commission of
Bihar.
A National Award-winning
producer, Hollywood actress, and Bollywood star, Neetu Chandra brought
unmatched credibility and inspiration to the voter awareness campaign. Her
connection with the youth and women voters turned voting from a duty into a
celebration of democracy. Her message — “Every vote strengthens Bihar” — deeply
resonated across the state.
Through district visits,
interactive campaigns, and an impactful social media presence, Neetu
transformed voting into a matter of pride and participation. The results were
clearly visible: Patna Sahib recorded 58.92% and Phulwari Sharif 57.89% voter
turnout — among the highest in urban Bihar.
As Bihar’s only National
Award-winning producer and a Hollywood actress, Neetu’s influence extended far
beyond cinema. Her genuine efforts proved that leadership transcends
entertainment, inspiring lakhs of first-time and women voters to step forward.
Neetu Chandra’s initiative has
not only energized Bihar’s democratic spirit but also set a new benchmark for
civic engagement across India.
