Bank of Baroda, one of India’s leading public sector banks, entered into an MoU with the Kolkata Police for the Baroda Police Salary Account Package in an event held at the Lalbazar Police Headquarters. The MoU was formally signed by Sanjay Kumar Tiwary, GM and zonal head of Kolkata Zone, and Ajoy Prasad, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, representing Kolkata Police. 

The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Ashesh Biswas, IPS-Additional Commissioner of Police (VI), Administrative Officer, Controller of Finance (Kolkata Police), Medni Kant Jha, Asst. General Manager, (Govt Business), Kolkata Zone, Brigadier Animesh Ganguly (Retd.) Defence Banking Advisor, Kolkata Zone, and other Bank officials.

This partnership will help the Bank serve over 50000 serving and retired Kolkata Police staff members. They will also benefit from the vast branch network of the bank in Kolkata for availing of several best-in-class banking services.
