The erotic thriller 'Parastri', which is going to be released soon in many countries, including India and Nepal, is a film produced by the joint efforts of India and Nepal. Many artists and technicians from both countries have worked on this film which is going to be released in both Hindi and Nepali languages.

'Parastri' is set against the backdrop of the intricacies of human relationships, problems arising out of extra-marital affairs, deception in love, and lust. Nepalese artists were at Delhi's PVR Plaza this week for a  press conference to promote the film.

Actress Shilpa Maske, who worked in Mission Impossible, is playing the lead in 'Parastri', besides Koshish Chhetri and Gaurav Bisht in important roles. Produced by Sharmila Pandey and Pushparaj T. Neopane, the film is produced under the banner of DS Digital and Nandi Creations.

While talking to the media, Shilpa Maske expressed her happiness about working in 'Parastri'. She said, "I am very happy that Parastri is going to be released simultaneously in both Hindi and Nepali. I am sure the Nepali audience, as well as the Indian audience, will like this film very much."

Gaurav Bisht said, "It is a matter of pride for me to work in this film. The audience of both the countries will get to see a film made on a different subject, in which there are elements of mystery and adventure."

Film director Suraj Pandey, who has directed other films in Nepal, said that good quality films are made in Nepal on good subjects and Parastri is a great example of that. He said, "This film will keep people's interest till the end and this film will make people think on many levels."
Producer Sharmila Pandey, who has produced several films in Nepal, said, "The film, a co-production between India and Nepal, will start a new cycle of exchange of art and entertainment between the two countries. We should continuously make films with the cooperation of India-Nepal so that the relations between the two countries become even more intense.
'Parastri' is going to be released on June 30 in more than 500 theatres around the world. Preparations are being made to release this film in 350 theaters across India.
