Kolkata, March 24: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday slammed Narendra Modi for coming on just a short aerial visit to the state to survey the post Cyclone Amphan devastation and claimed that the Prime Minister had not pay a single penny for Amphan relief.

She claimed that Modi came to Bengal and fled after a short visit while she herself had shifted based to Nabanna and monitored the cyclone situation round the clock.

Meanwhile the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, and the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister,Yogi Adityanath, attacked the Bengal CM for Amphan corruption.

“The Rs 1000 crore Modi said he gave was my money. It was what we deserved. Otherwise, he did not pay a single penny,” Mamata claimed while speaking in the Sunderban’s Patharpratima and Sagar areas.

Attacking Amit Shah for announcing the saffron party’s plan to declare the Sunderbans a district, Mamata Banerjee said her state government has already started work for Sunderbans’s development and making it a district.

The Bengal government has already built 17 new bridges in Sunderban’s Patharpratima, 30 lakh houses and six water supply projects in the region for the development of the Sunderbans.

She spoke about how her Sabuj Sathi Scheme will benefit the youth and students in Bengal, if voted to power. She also said that the government will provide Duare Sarkar and will provide Rs 10,000 for smart phones for online education to all the students.
