Fresh off the success of her songs, live concerts U.S.A & Canada tour, global pop artist and actor Shannon K is gearing up to share the
stage with legendary singer Kumar Sanu for a grand live symphony orchestra
concert in London on May 25, 2026. Organised by Rock On Music, the concert
promises to be a spectacular Bilingual musical experience, blending timeless
Bollywood melodies with the scale and richness of orchestral sound. The show is
expected to bring together fans across generations for a unique evening that
celebrates both nostalgia and musical evolution.
This highly anticipated London performance comes on
the heels of the successful live concerts U.S.A & Canada tour 2025 and 2026,
where Shannon K joined Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam for a multi-city musical
journey across North America. Audience loved the way she transitioned English
to Hindi songs. Held across March and April 2026, the tour travelled through
major cities including New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Austin, Charlotte,
Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas , San Diego, San Jose, Winnipeg, and Toronto.
While Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam brought alive the golden era of ’90s
Bollywood with their iconic voices, Shannon K added a contemporary pop
dimension with English and Hindi renditions , creating a cross-cultural musical
experience that resonated strongly with Gen Z and millennial audiences.
The tour was organised by Shri Balaji
Entertainment, led by Rocky Kaushal and Darshan Mehta, and successfully bridged
generations by reintroducing timeless classics through a modern lens. Shannon’s
dynamic stage presence and global pop sensibility brought a refreshing energy
to the concerts, creating an experience that spoke across generations, feeling
as relevant to Gen Z audiences discovering these songs for the first time as it
did to longtime fans who grew up with them.
Speaking about the recently concluded Unforgettable
’90s LIVE tour and the upcoming London symphony concert, Shannon K said, “I had
the opportunity to perform alongside two iconic singers, my father, Kumar Sanu,
and Sadhana Ma’am, and being part of the USA tour again this year was
incredibly special. As younger audiences continue to rediscover ’90s Bollywood
through reels, remixes, and streaming platforms, I’ve loved reimagining this
music through a modern pop lens, connecting the magic of the ’90s with my generation
and showing that great music never belongs to just one era. I’m now really
looking forward to bringing that same energy to the Royal Albert Hall , London
concert with a live symphony orchestra.”
When asked about Shannon joining the tour, Kumar
Sanu shared, “It started when my audience was constantly asking about Shannon
and how they enjoy her English songs. So my promotion and I decided to get her
onboard for 2 shows and see how it goes. The way audiences showered loved on
Shannon when she performed English songs, I realized that U.S.A. , Canada and
UK audiences listen to English and Hindi both. That way Shannon became part of
our show and honestly she added lots of value and freshness to my 90’s set up.
This was our second year performing, and the tour was a beautiful journey of
reliving some very special old songs with Sadhana ji, she’s immensely talented
singer of 90’s era. Shannon has ability to sing 90’s songs in pop style that
brought a fresh, modern energy what spoke to today’s generation while
respecting the emotion of the originals. As a father, I felt proud watching her
grow as an artist and being so respectful towards other artists and people.
Together with Sadhana ji, it felt like we were celebrating the ’90s while
welcoming the future of music.”
Talking about the tour, Sadhana Sargam said, “I was
so honored and happy to join Sanu da on stage once again. It felt wonderful to
sing our old songs and see the new generation enjoying them as well. Shannon
was the cherry on top of the tour, as she connected with younger audiences and
was a valuable addition to the show.”
Building on the success of its 2024 and 2025
editions, Unforgettable ’90s LIVE returned for its third consecutive year in
2026. With Kumar Sanu’s iconic voice, Sadhana Sargam’s timeless melodies, and
Shannon K’s global pop presence, the tour brought together artists and sounds
from different generations on one stage, offering audiences more than just
nostalgia, and was widely enjoyed by lakhs of music lovers across North
America. The journey now continues with Kumar Sanu and Shannon K set to take
the stage in London on May 25, 2026, for a special live symphony orchestra
concert, promising yet another immersive musical experience that reimagines
timeless melodies for a global audience.
Alongside music, Shannon K has recently expanded
her acting and playback work, appearing in Chal Zindagi with Sanjay Mishra,
lending her voice to Badass Ravi Kumar with Himesh Reshammiya, Tanvi The Great
directed by Anupam Kher, and web series Salakaar. Already known internationally
for chart-topping tracks such as Antidote, Give Me Your Hand, A Longtime, Run,
9 to 5 and OTT , she has built a career that spans music and film across
markets, further strengthened by her cross-cultural collaboration OMT and Baby
I love you. In 2025, she also made history as the first independent
Indian-origin singer-songwriter to perform at Coachella.
