New Delhi, The Infra Medi 2.0 Symposium & Expo
was successfully held at Le Meridien, New Delhi, bringing together key
stakeholders from healthcare, research, policymaking, and industry. The event
served as a significant platform for deliberations on strengthening India’s
healthcare infrastructure and fostering innovation within the ecosystem.
The event was graced by Shri Lumbaram Choudhary,
Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Jalore-Sirohi, Rajasthan, as the
Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the need for robust healthcare
infrastructure and effective policy frameworks to meet the country’s growing
health demands.
Distinguished speakers included Dr. Sanghamitra
Pati, Additional Director General, ICMR; Dr. Mona Duggal, Director,
ICMR–National Institute for Research in Digital Health and Data Science; and
Dr. Rajni Kant, Director, RMRC Gorakhpur and Head, Policy & Communication,
ICMR. They highlighted the critical role of digital health, research
integration, and policy alignment in transforming India’s healthcare landscape.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
played a key role as the Gold Sponsor of the event. The symposium also
witnessed active participation from organizations such as the Food Safety and
Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Central Council for Research in Siddha
(CCRS), and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
NGO partners Lady Circle GMCLC160 and Karah
Foundation contributed significantly towards promoting community engagement and
social awareness.
The second session featured Dr. Harsh Vardhan,
renowned ENT specialist and former Union Minister of Health & Family
Welfare, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. His presence underscored the
importance of strong policy leadership in advancing the healthcare sector.
The visual and experiential aspects of the event
were effectively managed by Visual Myths, led by Director Ms. Meetu Paul.
Aligned with the national vision of “Vision 2047”,
Infra Medi 2.0 emphasized building a resilient, inclusive, and future-ready
healthcare system driven by innovation, digital transformation, and
collaborative partnerships.
The event also marked the announcement of the
upcoming Infra Medi 3.0, aimed at expanding dialogue, innovation, and
stakeholder engagement on a larger scale.
The symposium concluded with a collective
commitment towards achieving the goals of Vision 2047.
