B. Sirkar Johuree marked yet another landmark
moment in its illustrious journey with the grand launch of its Annual Calendar
2026 on January 6 at the Tollygunge Club in Kolkata. The event unfolded as a
star-studded celebration that seamlessly blended fashion, heritage, and fine
jewellery, reaffirming the brand’s stature as one of Bengal’s oldest and most
revered jewellery houses, established in 1884.
Often likened to legendary masters such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci for its brilliance and artistry, B. Sirkar Johuree has long been synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship and uncompromising quality. Its iconic showrooms at Bowbazar and Elgin Road had, over the decades, continued to draw patrons in large numbers, built on a legacy where quality remained the brand’s defining watchword.
The calendar launch featured an exclusive fashion
show with Kolkata’s leading models, presented in two thoughtfully curated
segments.
The first segment showcased the brand’s new
lightweight, modern designer jewellery collection, reflecting a contemporary
design language paired with refined elegance crafted for effortless
sophistication and everyday luxury.
The second segment unveiled the heritage jewellery collection for 2026, featuring richer, heavier designs that paid homage to traditional craftsmanship while embodying timeless grandeur. Both segments introduced entirely new designs, revealed for the first time at the event.
Adding to the evening’s glamour, the brand face and showstopper, Nusrat Jahan, captivated the audience with her presence, lending star power and grace to the showcase. The event was graced by the owners, Sree Sirkar and Joydeep Sirkar, who welcomed guests and reflected on the brand’s journey and future vision.
