Aditi Nandy, one of Kolkata’s most promising
powerlifting talents, is set to represent India at the United World Sports
& Fitness Federation (UWSFF) World Championship 2025 in the Pro
Powerlifting category. The prestigious championship will take place from
November 27 to 29, 2025, in Pattaya, Thailand.

consistently broken barriers and stereotypes—proving that strength, grit, and
excellence know no gender.
At the world championship, Aditi will compete in
three major categories: Squats, Deadlifts, and Bench Press, aiming to make her
mark on the global stage and bring pride to both Kolkata and India.
Speaking about her selection, Aditi expressed
gratitude and determination: “Representing India at such a prestigious platform
is a dream come true. I hope my journey inspires more women to pursue strength
sports fearlessly and with confidence.”
Aditi’s story offers rich potential for an
inspiring feature or profile—one that highlights her achievements, her training
philosophy, and the rising presence of Indian women in global powerlifting.
