New Delhi: The much-awaited 17th
Poultry India Expo-2025, South Asia’s largest poultry event, began its journey
with a Curtain-Raiser National Media Gathering held on Monday at Hotel The
Park, New Delhi. The event was presided over by Mr. Uday Singh Bayas, President
of the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IPEMA), along with
Mr. Anil Dhumal (Founder President) and Mr. M. Srikanth (Treasurer).
The media gathering witnessed
the participation of leading journalists and industry dignitaries, including
Dr. Tarun Shridhar (Former Secretary, AHD, Government of India), Dr. P.K.
Shukla (President, IPSA), Mr. Ramesh Khatri (Chairman, PFI), Mr. Divya Kumar
Gulati (Chairman, CLFMA), and Mr. Naveen Pasuparthy (President, KPFBA), among
others.
The event unveiled details of
the upcoming 17th Poultry India Expo-2025, scheduled from November 25–28, 2025
at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, and the Knowledge Day to be held on
November 25 at Novotel, Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion,
industry leaders highlighted the poultry sector’s crucial role in ensuring food
security, rural employment, and affordable protein availability. India today
ranks as the 2nd largest producer of eggs and among the top 4 producers of
broiler meat globally, growing at an annual rate of 8–10% in chicken and 6–8%
in egg production.
IPEMA President Mr. Uday Singh
Bayas said, “This expo is not just an exhibition but a platform to connect
farmers, breeders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. Together, we can build a
stronger poultry future for India and the world. Your presence ensures success.”
The previous edition, 16th
Poultry India Expo-2024, saw participation from over 400 exhibitors, 40,000
visitors, and 50+ countries. Building on that success, the 2025 edition will be
even bigger — featuring 500+ exhibitors, 50,000+ visitors, and seven modern
exhibition halls showcasing innovations in breeding, feed, automation, and
animal health.
With the theme “One Nation, One
Expo”, the 17th edition aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of
‘Viksit Bharat 2047’, bringing together farmers, researchers, and entrepreneurs
to shape a sustainable and globally competitive poultry industry.
