Ed Sheeran recently dropped his new track Azizam from his upcoming album Play, and he's also confirmed an exciting collaboration with the legendary Arijit Singh for the album. While on tour in India, Ed shared a heartwarming story about meeting Arijit. He traveled there with his dad, and the journey to Arijit's remote village was nothing short of an adventure. “It was like a pilgrimage with my dad,” Ed said, reflecting on the day-long trip that included a three-hour flight, a five-and-a-half-hour drive, and a whole lot of excitement.
Ed couldn't help but smile as he recalled how Arijit invited him to come for the vocals, saying, “If you want vocals, you have to come to me.” Once they arrived at Arijit’s village, the singer took them around on mopeds, showing them the heart of his world. It was a day full of laughs and memories, and Ed described it as “really fun” — a beautiful blend of music and adventure, making the wait for their collaboration even more special and exciting for their fans.
