Vaughn’s films aren’t bad, but Argylle, right from the screenplay to the
direction to the acting, VFX, and dialogues, is downright cringe. Even the
jokes don’t land and end up feeling corny.
The
marketing of this film is crazy as they have featured Henry Cavill on the
posters and, surprisingly, he isn’t even there in many scenes: He has barely 20
minutes of screen time just like John Cena.
The fight sequences too aren’t up to the mark and fail to give you the adrenaline rush that those in Kingsman did.
Argylle disappoints big time, falling into the group of really bad action comedies.
