The music album launch of ‘Dwam’, Tazim Sheikh was held at the Press Club on March 3. The instrumental album was launched by stalwarts in the field of music like singer-composer Sumit Ray, Ustad Arshad Ali Khan, and renowned Latin Jazz musician Pradyumna Singh Manot who is also Tazim’s guru.

A rare mix of Indian classical music and jazz on Indo-Western instruments, ‘Dwam’ is meant to appeal to the senses.

Through his debut album Tazim wants to give the Indian audience of an opportunity to listen to a fresh perspective of progressive music in an Indian context and at the same time, showcase the whole world Indian music in a more familiar sense to them through the fusion of rock and Jazz music. "I want to make people think that's why I have named my album Dwam," said Tazim.

His music has various influences like Jazz, Hindustani Classical, Western Classical, Rock and Folk music.
