The trailer looked promising, but the film
falls flat on its face. This weird blend of Jurassic Park and some B-grade
sci-fi just don’t go together. Certainly no thrills or enjoyment which should
have been the mainstay of a film like this, is in store for the hapless viewer
with an even more boring climax.
After a catastrophic crash on an unknown
planet, pilot Mills quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth…65
million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only
other survivor, Koa, must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with
dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.
The direction, screenplay cinematography,
editing, score… you name it all, are downright bad. With mediocre action and performances,
yes even from Adam Driver, only the visual effects are the redeeming feature in
this bland and boring seemingly never-ending sci-fi outing.
65 is one bad film which never should never
have been even conceived as an idea.
