Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB has been awarded for its continuous achievements in higher education among the Technology Schools in December 2022 by Cyber Media Research (CMR) in association with Dataquest (DQ).

MAKAUT, WB has been ranked first in the Eastern Region (Zone-wise) among the Technology Schools (T-Schools) in Digital Index Survey conducted in December 2021.

Among the T-Schools in India in 2022 MAKAUT, WB had ranked second in the Eastern Zone in the March 2022 survey.

It has been ranked Second in Eastern Region Employability Ranking in September 2022.

It was ranked Seventh in Dataquest T-Schools Survey in March 2022.

Cyber Media Research (CMR) in association with Dataquest (DQ), the country’s oldest and most respected IT-ITeS industry journal, regularly conducts a Digital Index Survey amongst various engineering colleges in India. This study aims to determine the Top Technology (T) Schools (offering B.E., B.Tech. or similar undergraduate degree-level technical courses) in the country and rank them on a list of carefully selected parameters.

Among the Top Tech-Enabled T-Schools, MAKAUT, WB has been placed in the Third Position.
