Kolkata Centre for Creativity (KCC) is all ready to organize the ‘EURASIA Dance Project International Network- Crossroad Residency, 2022’ from March 21 to April 3, 2022. KCC is EurAsia’s only partner for developing cross-border exchanges and enabling new opportunities for performers in India, thus making this unique.
The
artistic residency for Crossroads in India will begin with 2 artists – Matteo
Sedda- selected by EurAsia originally from Italy and based in Belgium and Rudra
Kishore Mandal, a local visual artist- selected by KCC for the artistic
residency in India who will collaborate with Matteo for his solo piece. EurAsia
Artistic Director Stefano Fardelli will mentor them. The final piece will be
showcased by Matteo and Rudra on April 4, 6pm onwards at KCC. All the dancers
who are a part of Crossroads will meet in Belgium where Stefano will stitch all
the four solos together and from there the European tour will start. Crossroads
has won the Italian Ministry´s call Boarding Pass Plus which will support a
portion of the worldwide tour.
