Mumbai: The passing away of Vijay Patil (Laxman of the Raam-Laxman jodi) has left yet another void in the Bollywood music industry. His partner Surender (Raam of the jodi) had passéd away shortly after signing ‘Agent Vinod’ in 1977. But Laxman continued to add Raam’s name till his own death.
People remember Raam Laxman for superhits in films like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and of course ‘Patthar Ke Phool'. But despite these all-time hits, the duo provided us with such wonderful work that is either lost because of the unpopularity of those films or as the above mentioned took precedence over the duo’s other chartbusters.
Here’s a list of the other chartbusters that Raam Laxman has created for us. We in Kolkatakonnect pay a tribute to the composer duo with these lost gems.
