The Human Rights Council of India successfully organized the prestigious “Bharat Gaurav Samman 2026”, a grand celebration dedicated to recognizing individuals who have made exceptional contributions to society and the nation through excellence, leadership, innovation and dedicated service.
Presented by the Human Rights Council of India, Bharat Gaurav Samman 2026 brought together distinguished achievers, leaders, changemakers, public figures, industry professionals, social leaders, cultural personalities and other eminent dignitaries from diverse fields.
The awards recognized individuals whose contributions extend beyond professional success and whose work has created a meaningful impact on society. The initiative highlighted achievements reflecting professional excellence, leadership and vision, innovation and creativity, social responsibility, dedicated service to society and meaningful contribution to nation-building.
The event which was based on the theme “The Legacy of the Nation”, emphasizing the importance of celebrating individuals who inspire others, create opportunities, serve communities and contribute towards building a stronger and more progressive India.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Avijit Roy, National Director, Human Rights Council of India, highlighted the significance of recognizing individuals whose dedication and achievements create a positive impact on society. He emphasized that platforms such as Bharat Gaurav Samman provide an opportunity to acknowledge extraordinary contributions and inspire the next generation to work towards excellence and social responsibility.
The ceremony served as a distinguished platform where excellence received recognition, impact received a platform and contribution became a legacy.
The proceedings started with the lighting of the lamp by the distinguished guests followed by renowned singer Sulakshna Chattopadhayay's powerful rendtion of the national song Vande Mataram and the National Anthem.
Master Krishanu Paul, Master Soujodeep Singha, Master Debraj Dey, Aradhya Kundu, Master Rehan Hansda were among the little wonders to be awarded for their contrbution as models.
Advaita Dutta, Madhumita Gupta, Priyanka Ghosh, Sreejita Banerjee, Priyanka Sinha, Rahul Saha, Shantanu Guha Thakurta and Aarti Shaw from the world of fashion, Astrologers Debankur Shastri and Mintu Shastri,
Vikas Mondal, Sajibul Mondal, Prabhakar Mondal Bappa Das, Anirban Paul, Papiya Ghosh, Kartik Ganguly and Supratik Mukherjee were awarded for their social work. Dr Kaushal Kumar for biomedical innovation and health care, Madhusatta Chowdhury for yoga and holistic wellness, entrepreneurs Rahul Shaw, and Sudip Chakraborty, Actor producer Suchandra Vaniya, singer Jojo Mukherjee singer, Samiran Chakraborty for literature and digital content, celebrity influencer and energy consultant Payal Verma, Human Rights Council of India national spokesman Tapas Das. HRCI Assam state president Pallavi Bora, Diwendra Singha project consultant, MLA Shankar Sikdar, BJP worker Rakhi Chatterjee were among those felicitated.
Dance performances by Aparajita Adhya's dance troupe added charm to the evening.
