What to Expect: Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents তোমার পরশ আসে, the annual Rabindra Jayanti celebration, a two-day programme commemorating the legacy of Rabindranath Tagore. 

 

The event brings together performances, readings, and discussions that reflect Tagore’s contributions to literature, music, philosophy, and the arts. 

 

রবীন্দ্র জয়ন্তী, observed on Bard of Bengal’s birth anniversary, is a time to revisit and celebrate his vast creative universe – where word, music, movement, and thought come together. The programme embraces this spirit through a confluence of forms, including reflective talks, musical performances, recitations, and a dance theatre presentation, each engaging with Tagore’s works in distinct yet interconnected ways.
