New Delhi: The much-anticipated action drama
‘Ramaiya’ is set to arrive in cinemas in February 2026, promising a powerful
blend of raw emotion, high-voltage action and gripping intensity. The film
features actor Janmejaya in the lead, whose commanding performance has already
begun generating strong buzz.
Directed by filmmaker Santosh Parab, Ramaiya marks
the emergence of a bold new cinematic force in Indian cinema. The recently
released poster has taken the internet by storm, showcasing Janmejaya in an
intense, fierce avatar — gun in hand, eyes burning with raw fire. The striking
visual is being hailed as one of the most impactful character introductions of
the year.
Produced by Anandvan Creations and Sulbha Kala
Kriti, Ramaiya represents a defining moment in Janmejaya’s career as he steps
into a powerful lead role that promises courage, grit and high-voltage drama.
His screen presence dominates the film’s promotional material, firmly
establishing him as the heart, soul and driving force of the narrative.
The film also boasts a strong supporting cast
featuring industry veterans Sayaji Shinde, Ashok Samarth, Samaira Rao, Sheetal
Pathak and Ganesh Yadav in key roles. However, there is little doubt that
Ramaiya is largely centered around Janmejaya, with the story crafted to
highlight his intensity, versatility and heroic charisma.
The story has been penned by Sunil Rajan and
Santosh Parab, while the film’s visual appeal is enhanced by Naveen N. V.
Mishra’s dynamic cinematography. Adding to the impact is a pulsating background
score by Bilpab Dutta, giving the film a powerful emotional and action-driven
rhythm. The project is further strengthened by a talented creative team that
includes action director Kindhen R. Singh, editors Amit K. Kaushik and Rahul
Prajapati, and choreographer Sushma Suman, ensuring a high-quality cinematic experience.
Sharing his thoughts on the film, actor Janmejaya
said, "Ramaiya is not just a character I played. I had to break myself and
rebuild from within to truly become him. The role challenged me both
emotionally and physically, and I embraced every moment of that transformation.
I genuinely believe audiences will feel Ramaiya’s heartbeat through me, as a
piece of my soul lives in every frame.”
Director Santosh Parab added, "Ramaiya blends
intensity, emotion and action in a way that creates a fully immersive
experience. With an exceptional team, we have crafted a film where every detail
— from storytelling to visuals and atmosphere — leaves a lasting impact.
Ramaiya is designed to stay with the audience long after the credits roll.”
‘Ramaiya’ is scheduled for a Valentine’s 2026
theatrical release, promising audiences a charged, emotional and
adrenaline-filled cinematic journey led by Janmejaya’s powerful screen
presence.
