New Delhi: On the occasion of its Golden Jubilee Year celebrations, Tarun Mitra Parishad organized an inspiring, dignified, and service-oriented programme today at Pyarelal Bhawan, ITO, New Delhi. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Mayor of Delhi, Shri Raja Iqbal Singh, as the Chief Guest.

 

Addressing the gathering, the Founder and Present President of the Parishad, Shri Ashok Kumar Jain, highlighted the organization’s continuous five-decade-long journey of social service. He emphasized that selfless service, strong commitment, and collective efforts have been the cornerstone of Tarun Mitra Parishad’s sustained growth and impact.

 

The General Secretary of the Parishad, Shri Manoj Kumar Jain, informed that as part of the Golden Jubilee initiatives, more than 500 underprivileged students were supported with scholarships, supplementary textbooks, stationery, and track suits.

 

Marking a significant new initiative this year, the Parishad also gifted each student a ₹50,000 medical insurance policy, ensuring healthcare security and safeguarding their future. In addition, wheelchairs, artificial limbs, and polio calipers were distributed to persons with disabilities, while battery-operated electric sewing machines were provided to needy women to promote self-reliance.

 

In his address, Hon’ble Mayor Shri Raja Iqbal Singh lauded the commendable work of Tarun Mitra Parishad and stated that no governmental effort can achieve complete success without the active support of social organizations. He extended his heartfelt congratulations and appreciation for the Parishad’s extensive initiatives for the welfare of children, women, and persons with disabilities, and assured his continued support in the future.

 

The programme was also attended by distinguished guests including Shri Manoj Maidirrata, Founder, M/s Jeevan Publishing House; Smt. Alka Raghav, Municipal Councillor; Ms. Sudha Gupta, Patron of the Parishad; and representatives of the Dharampal–Satyapal Charitable Trust. The guests praised the Parishad’s service-driven initiatives and described its efforts to reach the last person in society as truly exemplary.
