Heyya, the Sultan of Hindi horror’s back with thunderous might,
Fresh out of jail and ruling the silver screen tonight.
With his decade-old franchise still casting its spell,
Set to crush the other three Bollywood releases this weekend as well!

Truly, Vikram Bhatt is having the last laugh. His Haunted 3D got a near full house at Citylight Cinema, Mahim on Sunday afternoon; a rare feat in these times of meagre audience and cancelled shows.

Filmed on a green screen with some pretty horrendous AI effects thrown in to ensure you get repulsed than scared, the film's plot revolves around a blind bhoot and a VFX castle caught in time loop. The first Haunted had a rapist bhoot in a similar set-up; we get a blind one here.

Mimoh Chakraborty carries his one morose expression right from first scene till the very end; a difficult feat to achieve for even the worst of nepo-kids from Karan Johar camp. Mimoh is the king here... yea, from past life, who has now reincarnated to save his princess (Chetna Pande, charming and promising) from clutches of a blind CGI Skeletor.

With the worst VFX seen in Hindi Cinema, Haunted 3D still entertains... not as a horror fest but an unintentional laugh riot. The young crowd at Citylight was laughing aloud at all those supposedly creepy crows and swiggly wiggly 'keedas' popping out of nowhere. They got their money's worth of fun. Vikram Bhatt got his hit. All's well that ends well!!
