What to Expect: The House of Kiran Showcase — Summer 2026 marks the culmination of a
landmark first season — the opening chapter of HOK’s vision to bring
world-class musical theatre training to Kolkata.
This intimate showcase features students from the Youth Musical
Theatre Intensive, inspired by Matilda, and the Acting
Through Song program, stepping into the spotlight to share work built
through rigorous, joyful, and transformative training.
Experience Broadway-style storytelling, soul-driven song, and
performances that reach far beyond the stage.
The evening also features a live performance by Krystal Kiran,
founder of House of Kiran, a Broadway originating artist and one of the
youngest South Asian women to perform on Broadway. She made her Broadway debut
at just 19 years old in Bombay Dreams, the musical by Andrew Lloyd
Webber and A. R. Rahman. Her performance will include selections from the works
of Stephen Sondheim and Les Misérables.
