After clinching the gold medal at the Dubai Pro Wrestling Championships, Sangram Singh, a renowned wrestler, has been bestowed with the prestigious Mid-Day Maharashtra Gaurav Award. This distinguished honour celebrates individuals who have significantly contributed to the advancement and pride of Maharashtra.

 

Sangram Singh's victory in Dubai, where he triumphed over Mohammad Saeed of Pakistan, added another feather to his illustrious cap. His stellar performance not only showcased his exceptional wrestling skills but also brought glory to India on the international stage.

 

Expressing his gratitude upon receiving the Mid-Day Maharashtra Gaurav Award, Sangram Singh conveyed his deep-rooted connection to Mumbai and the state of Maharashtra. He remarked, "Mumbai is my karam bhoomi. And I am forever indebted to this city and the state of Maharashtra." For Sangram, Maharashtra holds a special place, as it is steeped in history and has been a source of inspiration throughout his wrestling journey.
