South City Mall, the city’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination, celebrated the spirit of festivity with the grand unveiling of its Durga Puja Mandap today. As the highly anticipated Pujo celebrations commenced, the Mall transformed into a vibrant cultural pandal with the theme “Red and Golden Lotus”.

The beautifully designed Puja Mandap, centred around the lotus as a symbol of supreme devotion, highlights the traditional belief that offering 108 lotuses to the Goddess is the ultimate act of reverence. Adorned with dazzling décor, intricate artistry, and a touch of Bengal’s rich heritage, South City Mall is set to be one of the city’s must-visit festive landmarks this season. The arrival of Maa Durga was welcomed with rhythmic dhak beats, dhunuchi performances, and cultural dances, creating an atmosphere of true festive grandeur. Students from South City International School also added to the celebration with special performances, infusing youthful energy into the traditional festivities.

The unveiling ceremony drew enthusiastic participation from shoppers, mall patrons, and visitors, who came together to soak in the festive cheer.
