Ganesh Chaturthi has always been a festival of devotion, joy, and
togetherness, but this year’s celebrations at Director’s Kut Productions (DKP)
held a far deeper resonance. On the auspicious day of Ganesh Sthapna, the sets
of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa transformed into spaces of divine
energy, vibrant creativity, and heartfelt compassion. The arrival of DKP Cha
Raja—Lord Ganesha—was not only marked by reverence and rituals but also by a
beautiful initiative that touched the hearts of everyone present.
The celebrations began with traditional prayers, chants, and rituals,
creating an atmosphere filled with serenity and devotion. Yet, what stood out
this year was not just the festive grandeur but the spirit of unity. Cast
members, crew, and creative teams from all the shows came together like one big
family—sharing prayers, laughter, and the joy of welcoming Bappa. For producer
Rajan Shahi, Ganpati puja has always been a sacred tradition, symbolizing
gratitude, hope, and new beginnings. Over the years, it has grown into a ritual
where his entire production family gathers, reinforcing the values of love and
togetherness.
But this year, the celebration was extra special as Rajan’s daughter,
Ishika Shahi was also present.
Rajan shah said, “We continue to celebrate all festivals. Ganpati Bappas
bless everyone. I pray for everyone’s peace and happiness. My mom Deepa Shahi
couldn't come today but has sent blessings for all".
The cast and crew of both shows was seen celebrating. Anita Raaj, Rupali
Ganguly, Samridhi Shukhla, Rohit Purohit, Adrija Roy, Spreha Chatterjee, Varun
Kasturia, Milloni Kapadia, Ishita dixit, Shrruti Rawatt, Mohit Parmar, Rishabh
Jaiswalll, Mehul Nisar, Sikandar Kharbanda and Shiwani Chakraborty.
Rupali Ganguly shared that Ganpati always feels like family and she
feels blessed to be part of DKP’s celebration. Rohit Purohit expressed his
happiness saying that such festivals bring the team closer and give positive
energy. Samridhi Shukla mentioned that celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi on set
makes her feel at home away from home. Adrija Roy also added that being part of
the puja fills her heart with peace and gratitude.
