Mumbai recently witnessed an unforgettable celebration of music, legacy, and excellence as Blessing Entertainment & BCCA proudly hosted the Shri Shankar Shambhu Memorial Awards 2025. The prestigious event, held at Sardar Patel Sabhagriha Bhavans College, Andheri (W), Mumbai, brought together luminaries from the world of Indian music for an evening of soulful tributes and mesmerising performances.
The night paid homage to the legendary Sufi singers duo Shri Shankar Shambhu Ji, whose unparalleled contributions to Indian classical & Sufi music continue to inspire generations. In a moment of grandeur, the iconic Padmashri Sonu Nigam was felicitated with the prestigious award, recognizing his remarkable journey and enduring impact on Indian music.
The event was graced by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Agam Nigam, Manoj Muntashir, and Jaspinder Narula. A special evening highlight was a spellbinding performance as a tribute by Padmashri Ahmed Hussain & Mohammed Hussain, whose ghazals cast a timeless spell on the audience.
The audience was treated to captivating performances by Ram Shankar, Rakesh Pandit, Pradeep Pandit, Raja Pandit, Heera Pandit, Deepak Pandit, Aditya Shankar, Sneha Shankar, Sumeet Tappoo, Saurabh Daftary, Dr.Jaspinder Narula, Prashant Sonagra, Pooja Gaitonde and Rajeev Mahavir.
The event also welcomed an esteemed gathering of special guests, including Yogesh Lakhani, Ajay Sahaab, Saurabh Daftary, Sanjay Mahale, Dr Ashok Tandon, Lalit Shah, Vipul Shah, Rajneesh Agrawal, Neeraj Sharma, and Rajesh Sonagra, Sundari Thakur and Ghanyam Vasvani- all coming together to celebrate the spirit of Indian music.
