The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 kickstarted on June 2 and is being co-hosted by the West Indies and the USA. While the Indian men’s cricket team is ready to bring the trophy home, the public broadcaster channel Doordarshan is showcasing the matches live. To take it up a notch higher, they roped in acclaimed lyricist Raghuvir Shekhawat to pen the anthem for the T20 World Cup.

Titled Jeet Ka Jazba, Raghuvir has outdone himself and has given a very inspiring, and energetic song. The song has been crooned by Sukhwinder Singh, whose powerful voice is the icing on the cake.

Raghuvir said, “It was truly an honour for me to write this song, and I couldn’t be happier that it was sung by none other than Sukhwinder Singh. I have always been a big fan of him, and he has just brought my words to life.”

The anthem was launched at the National Media Centre by I&B secretary Sanjay Jaju, chairman Prasar Bharati, Navneet Sehgal, and CEO Prasar Bharati Gaurav Dwivedi.
