The National Human Rights and Crime Control Bureau (NHRCCB), a social organization, held its general meeting at the Kolkata Motor Dealers Association office on Saturday, May 4th. Representatives from nine districts of the state attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by the state vice president of the organization, Tanmoy Banerjee. Some members of the Kolkata Motor Dealers Association also participated in the discussion. Virtually present were the national secretary and many other high-ranking officials of the organization.

The main topic of discussion on the day was to strengthen the organization. Representatives have been appointed in 13 districts of the state. A pledge was made to expand the organization to the remaining districts and to stand by the helpless, deprived and oppressed.

Speaking to reporters, co-president Tanmoy Banerjee said that the organization now has 1762 members in the state. Everyone works selflessly for the helpless. There is no money transaction here. People get free service. If any complaint is received, the organization immediately investigates the matter and starts working. The National Human Rights and Crime Control Bureau has pledged to stand by the people of Bengal and protect their human rights in the coming days.
