Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner Sanya Malhotra is a proficient actress and what makes her stand apart from the newer lot of actresses is her drive to be a part of films with strong content and character. From playing the role of a wrestler in Dangal to performing action sequences in Jawan, Sanya has picked up unique roles that have proven her versatility. It is her versatility that has made her favourite among the directors and here’s taking a look at her best collaboration with 5 renowned directors.

Dangal (Nitesh Tiwari)  

Released in 2016, Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal still stands as one of the most talked about movies, which marked Sanya Malhotra’s Bollywood debut. The actress played the role of wrestler Babita Phogat which garnered her loads of appreciation. The film’s success made her popular among the audience as the ‘Dangal girl’. 

Badhaai Ho (Amit Sharma)

In Badhaai Ho, Sanya Malhotra played the role of a catalyst in forming a positive mindset about pregnancy. In the same film, she also amazed everyone with her dancing skills in the popular soundtrack ‘Morni Banke’. 

 Ludo (Anurag Basu)
