Anand Kumar, who has directed films like Desi Katte, is going to make a film on Delhi's Covid hero Jitendra Singh Shanti. He said that he had been planning to make a film on Covid for a long time and is also working on it. During this time, he came to know about the work of Jitendra Singh Shanti of Delhi, so he came to Delhi to meet him and when he got to know his entire life, he felt that a film should be made about him and how he had contributed to the society in Delhi. He has served and helped so many families during the time of COVID-19, when people were holding back from cremating their families. Jitendra Singh Shanti came forward and got the cremation of thousands of families done with his own hands. Considering his services, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri.
Anand Kumar said that Jitendra Singh Shanti's entire life is inspiring and full of adventures which will impress the audience a lot.
