Polo Floatel, Calcutta (earlier Floatel Hotel) is all set to celebrate Durga Puja. Calcutta-Asia's first floating hotel has announced an exclusive Pujo Menu for the people of Kolkata to celebrate Pujo in an exciting way. With the launch of the new Pujo Menu, Polo Floatel is ready to bring back the taste of long-lost childhood memories of traditional authentic Bengali cuisine.

Equipped with modern amenities, upgraded facilities, heritage-décor, and impeccable services & scenic beauty, the hotel takes luxury to the next level. Polo Floatel provides the city's best view of the Ganges and mesmerising ambience. From exciting boat rides to witnessing many breathtaking sights and experiencing the numerous facets of the ‘City of Joy’ along with lip-smacking delicacies of multiple cuisines, Polo Floatel offers a host of unique experiential activities and an exciting range of dining options to make your special days a memorable one.

Soumen Halder, General Manager, Polo Floatel, Calcutta said, “We are very excited to welcome Durga Puja with our special and traditional authentic Bengali cuisine Pujo Menu. We are committed to offering a distinguished experience at Polo Floatel which has been upgraded significantly to meet the requirements of the people and is an ideal venue for festival gatherings. The hotel enjoys a superb location, easily reachable from important city landmarks and thus ideal for both business and leisure travellers.”

Halder added, “This festive season, our aim is to bring back the taste of long-lost childhood memories of traditional authentic Bengali cuisine which is hardly found nowadays. We look forward to not using a grinder for the spices to get the original taste into our delicacies for that extra kick. The most interesting fact is that even the fish that we serve are directly procured through our ‘Majhis’ which is a win-win situation. We get a fresh supply of fish available anytime for our guests which makes our menu more special and also aids our aim to support local communities. In addition, we get all our vegetables from local farmers to give the whole process from the procurement to the preparation and finally the presentation - an authentic feel and touch. What better way to celebrate the festivity than being on the spiritual Ganga with your loved ones.”

Polo Floatel not only maintains the legacy of the heritage property but also supports the local communities and markets. The Hotel majorly focuses on the menu's authenticity right from the procurement to the preparation and final presentation.

The Sharodiya Bhuri Bhoj will be available from October 19 to 24 both for lunch and dinner.
