In anticipation of its Asia premiere at the JIO MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, the creators of the highly-anticipated film "Stolen" have released a riveting clip that promises an immersive cinematic experience. Scheduled for October 29th, 31st, and November 2nd, this edge-of-the-seat thriller is rooted in true events and delves into profound themes such as child abductions, the spread of misinformation, mob mentality, public lynching, and societal divisions. The film follows the aftermath of the abduction of an impoverished mother’s five-month-old child, as wealthy brothers Gautam and Raman become involved in a harrowing journey to help her.

The heart-stopping clip provides viewers with a brief but intense look into the film's darker depths, leaving them both terrified and hungry for more. It encapsulates the dire consequences of an unruly mob, unfazed and brutally assaulting the character of Gautam, portrayed by the talented Abhishek Banerjee.

Abhishek Banerjee, the lead actor in the film, shared his thoughts about the released asset and the film as a whole: "This was the most painful scene for me, not physically but emotionally. The question that stayed with me after the filming was - how can humans be so cruel to humans? Are we not from the same team? Stolen posed a lot of these questions for me and answered them alike. The makers have created a gripping cinematic journey with a thought-provoking narrative based on true events. It's a raw, intense, and authentic film that keeps you on the edge. We hope that the film will get your heart racing."

After a successful international run with a premiere at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, a special mention in Zurich as part of the feature film competition, and a packed house at the BFI London Film Festival, "Stolen" has already garnered immense praise, particularly after its private screening with industry professionals in India. Now, it is all set to make its mark at the JIO MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

"Stolen" is directed by Karan Tejpal and produced by Gaurav Dhingra of Jungle Book Studio. It co-stars Shubham and Mia Maelzer in key roles. Audiences and cinephiles can witness this cinematic gem at the JIO MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
