South Kolkata Nrityangan is going to organise its maiden edition of its classical dance festival 'Nrityasamaroh' on 18th February from 5:30 pm at the Indian Council For Cultural Relations, Kolkata. The evening will commence with an opening group dance by the students of South Kolkata Nrityangan. There will be performances by legendary artists from various parts of India. They will include Guru Gopika Verma from Kerala, a Sangeet Natak Academy awardee and an exponent of 'Mohiniyattam', Guru Gajendra Panda from Odisha an exemplary Odissi performer, Guru Sandeep Mallik from Delhi Kathak Kendra, an outstanding 'Kathak' artist and from Kolkata, Bimbavati Devi, a noted 'Manipuri' exponent and Rajdeep Banerjee, an eminent Bharatanatyam.
