The Bengali feature film 'Ghasjomi' directed by Sumantra Roy, and produced by Priyanka More under the banner of Mosaic In Films has 81 international and national recognitions. The film has a fresh star cast with Sanjita, Suvosmita Mukherjee, Sawon Chakroborty, Debashish Chatterjee, and Aarshi Roy among others.

The movie starts with true friendship and revolves around a distant and indifferent world. The characters of Barna and Ipsita is the main soul of the movie. Barna is a 24-year-old girl, open-minded, intelligent, smart, and full of life, doing research in Social Anthropology. Her research deals with Bengali, urban, middle-class housewives - their childhood, relationship with parents, school, college, love affair, and marriage. From her known circle, she collects the contact numbers of these housewives and calls them for interviews. If they agree, Barna goes to their places and talks to them. Ipsita is one such housewife. Ipsita is about 15 years older than her, comes from a dissimilar background, and is very different in nature. Initially, she is shy and very hesitant to talk about herself but gradually she opens up and they become very good friends. Barna is surprised to know that Ipsita was previously part of a theatre group and she persuades her to rethink it. The film is about how Barna and Ipsita flow with the bonding they craft with the passage of time and leave a lasting impact on each other that in due course changes their individual lives in unexpected ways.

Sumantra Roy and Priyanka More are very sure of reaching new heights with this movie. They are keen to change society’s rules. Such women-oriented movies are making a mark and breaking the chains and taboos of society.
