Amit Dasgupta’s “Phire Aaye” is all set to hit the big screens on December 2. The star cast includes Biswajit Chakraborty, Anamika Saha, Bodhisatta Majumdar, Soma Chatterjee, Rish Biswas, Biplob & others
The story of "Phire
Aaye" is based on the life of a few journalists. The main characters of
this story are Tiasa, Ayush and Jiniya. Tiasa’s main purpose in life is to
present accurate news. Jiniya wants fame as a journalist, a lot of money and has
a lot of family responsibilities. Ayush comes to Kolkata with his dreams and
meets Jiniya in the course of their work. He falls in love with Jiniya but
never tells her about his feelings.
Tiasa was doing sting
operations to expose the political leaders. On one sting operation, a boy, Adi,
saves Tiasa from danger with whom Tiasa develops a sweet relationship.
Incidentally, Tiasa also brought some evidence of Mahila Samiti leader Chaya
Mitra's anti-social activities and misdeeds to the news channel's chief editor (Biswajit
Chakraborty) but the news was not broadcast on TV. Tiasa also loses her job.
She then tries to contact other news channels to broadcast the news but ends up
getting murdered.
There are huge protests
against Tiasa's death. A devastated Jiniya tries to present a false story to society
to avenge Tiasa’s death, but does not get any help from Ayush and they
separate. SP Amit Dasgupta finally tracks down the main accused in Tiyasa's
death.
Five years, Ayush
meets Jiniya's sister who tells him that on the day they last met, Jiniya died
in an accident. Jiniya was not involved in any criminal activity and Ayush had
misunderstood her. This truth leaves Ayush distressed and crying.
