Techno India Group has joined hands with Eastern India Rotary Welfare Trust for a private multi super specialty hospital- Rotary Techno Global Hospital, in Kolkata. Satyam Roychowdhury, Founder, Techno India Group and Shekhar Mehta, President-Rotary International laid the foundation stone of the 650-bed hospital in Salt Lake, on February 4. This multi-super specialty facility at Salt Lake, Sector V will be an addition to the Techno Global Hospital chain currently operating out of Barrackpore and Salt Lake, Sector-III.
The state-of-the-art infrastructure on 3 acres of land situated in the heart of Salt Lake Electronics Complex, would have healthcare facilities of world-class standard. The first phase of the proposed hospital complex with 350 beds would be fully operational in the next two years. The total investment for this project is envisaged to be above Rs 300 crores. It will offer a wide vista of specialized high-end healthcare to serve a large population of Eastern and North-Eastern states of India and the neighbouring countries. The existing Rotary Netralaya at the same premises would turn into full-fledged eye care and research centre of international standards. The first phase of the proposed hospital complex will have 350 beds and would be fully operational by 2024.
