India has achieved administration of 1 crore precaution doses of COVID-19 vaccine within a period of 19 days.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Lal Mandaviya tweeted on Friday that a precautionary dose of COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to over 1 crore people, till January 28.
While the vaccination drive for the administration of precautionary dose started on January 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that people above 60 years of age, healthcare workers and frontline workers will be eligible for the vaccine.
