Who is my God?

It’s well past midnight, I sit to write an article, and suddenly a thought comes to my head, “who is my God?”. Oh, but wait, does “God” even exist? Which God are we talking about anyway? Who is he? Where is he? Or is he even there?  Wait, why do I just call him “he”? Why not “she”? Is God a product of patriarchy as well? Wait what’s happening? Why am I even going crazy?

And, suddenly, now I’m going through an existential crisis. But hold on, we’re going to get through this together. The simple point I am trying to make here is that, nobody can be 100% sure about Divine truth, conventional Gods & major religions in the world. One may easily argue against the validity, concept, or ideas of religion & God. So look there’s no way I can be 100% sure about conventional God or Religion. So how do I truly believe in it?

But there’s this one God I am 100% sure of, It’s not a conventional God, but this philosophy is God to me. I have this philosophy that we should live a life in which we do good. If there are Gods & they are just then they will not care how devout we have been, but will love us based on the good virtues we have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then we should not want to worship them & If there are no gods, then We will be gone,  but will have lived a noble life full of goodness, that will live on in the memories of our loved ones & our goodness will have helped the world.

Notice, how this places “justice” and “noble living” above “the gods” on the value hierarchy. You could categorize this philosophy in the “shut up and do good” section of life advice. I worship this philosophy & it is God to me. I hope you too realize it’s importance.
