The PM will land in Midnapore's Kalaikunda airbase and participate in a review meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, followed by his visit to Odisha.
Mamata Banerjee will also do an aerial survey, accompanied by his Chief Secretary today in North & South 24 Parganas districts. The CM will visit Sandeshkhali and Hingalganj in North 24 Paragans districts and Sagar Island & Sunderbans in South 24 Parganas district. The Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary will hold review meetings in these two districts and then go to Kalaikunda for the meeting with the PM.

Mamata Banerjee reached Hingalgunj at around 11.30 today morning. She held meeting with the government official in Hingalgunj.

Mamata government has chalked out a detailed plan to introduce ‘Duare Relief’, a programme through which a team of government officials including District Magistrates and other government officials will reach various parts of the affected districts from June 3-18 to get a first-hand understanding of the damages and devastation. The team of government officials will receive the detailed application for the relief and rehabilitation requirements from the affected people in East and West Midnapore, South and North 24 Parganas.
