Leading models of the city modelled for a Bengali New Year table calendar recently. Shot by ace photographer Bappaditya Kundu, the calendar is a product of Chitropot Professional Studio, a joint venture by Kundu and Roshan Singh. It features 13 models which include Sushmita Roy, Nayanika Sarkar, Moitry Sarkar, Riya Biswas, Soumyasri Banerjee, Shreemoyee Dey, Riya Laha, Bhagyashree, Sangita Basu, Soma Halder, Anusua Das, Poulomi Bhowmick and Sharli Pal, one for each month of the year as well as a model for the cover page. The calendar was launched on April 14 eve at the studio. Kundu said: “This is the first time we are launching such a calendar. We had planned this last year but the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown from March forced us to put our plans on hold. This year we were in luck and I shot with all the models in the studio itself in just one day, April 11. I am eagerly looking forward to the reaction of people,” he added. As for the models, all had a blast shooting both in ethnic and party wear, putting their best look forward for the festive occasion.
