Gold Gala 2026, where she is being honoured with the prestigious *Global
Vanguard Honor* — a recognition reserved for individuals shaping cross-cultural

through a breathtaking one-of-a-kind couture gown by Amit Aggarwal in
collaboration with Ami Patel.
The ensemble was created using a
two-decade-old Chikankari sari, transformed into a contemporary couture
silhouette that beautifully merged heritage craftsmanship with modern
structure. Over six weeks, women artisans hand-embroidered the textile stitch by
stitch before Amit Aggarwal reimagined it through his signature sculptural
design language, intricate glass bead detailing and architectural layering. She
completed the look with a striking Bvlgari necklace.
The couture creation celebrated
the women behind the craft, the richness of Indian textiles and the evolving
legacy of heritage artistry — values Priyanka Chopra has consistently
championed through her global platform.
Held at The Music Center in
downtown Los Angeles under the theme “A New Gold World,” the Gold Gala 2026
celebrates cultural influence, leadership and shared progress. Priyanka joins
fellow honourees including Charles Melton, Jet Li, Simu Liu, EJAE and more.
