New Delhi witnessed a historic moment on January 20
at Bharat Mandapam, where a nine-day Ram Katha is being organised for the World
Peace Mission. For the first time, the Ambassador of Russia attended this Ram
Katha dedicated to world peace. The Ambassador of Panama was also present on
the occasion, marking the global resonance of this spiritual gathering.
The event was also graced by the Governor of
Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria, who listened to the entire Ram Katha. He stated
that such spiritual and cultural events strengthen moral values and deepen
cultural consciousness in society.
During the Ram Katha, Pujya Shri Morari Bapu, in
his discourse, emphasised that respect for women is deeply embedded in Indian
values and traditions. He said that in Indian culture, women are not only
respected but are also revered as symbols of power and creation.
Jain Acharya Lokesh highlighted that women’s
empowerment has become a crucial issue, from the United Nations to the smallest
villages of India. He stressed that spiritual platforms play a vital role in
strengthening the values of equality, compassion, and empowerment in society.
This Ram Katha, organised for the World Peace
Mission, has emerged as a powerful medium of social awareness alongside
spiritual awakening—proof that when tradition meets purpose, impact scales
globally.
