Delhi Sports University is
pleased to announce the successful completion of Stage-II Assessment for sports
talent identification for admissions in Delhi Sports School for academic
session 2025-26, conducted from May 29th to June 3rd, 2025, across various
venues in Delhi.
The Stage-II Assessment aimed to
assess and identify promising sports talent across multiple disciplines. Prior
to the event, all shortlisted students who were called for the Stage-II
Assessment were promptly notified through circulars posted on the DSU/DSS
website, emails, and contact was established on their registered mobile
numbers. Admit cards were also sent to them on their registered mail id
containing the schedule of the tests. Accommodation arrangements were made free
of cost for students traveling from outside Delhi/NCR, ensuring their comfort
and convenience during the Stage-II Assessment.
Approximately 566 students were
shortlisted for Stage-II Assessment out of the students who attended the
Stage-I of the Talent Scouting for admission in Delhi Sports School for the
academic session 2025-26. Impressively, nearly 90 percent of the invited
students participated in the event, showcasing their enthusiasm and commitment
to sports excellence.
The testing comprised Sports
Science Tests and Sports Trials conducted at various distinguished venues:
• Sports Science Tests for 3
games (Badminton, Athletics, and Lawn Tennis) were held at Thyagraj Stadium.
• Sports Science Tests of
remaining 7 games (Archery, Boxing, Wrestling, Table Tennis, Weightlifting,
Swimming and Shooting) were conducted at Delhi Sports School Ludlow Castle.
• Sports Trials for Boxing,
Wrestling, Table Tennis, Weightlifting, Swimming, Shooting took place at Delhi
Sports School.
• Badminton, Athletics, and Lawn
Tennis trials were held at Thyagraj Stadium, INA.
• Archery trials were held at
SKV H Block Ashok Vihar.
The event proceeded smoothly
under the expert supervision of officials as well as coaches from DSU and DSS,
ensuring all arrangements were in place for participants' participation, meals,
and accommodations. The dedicated efforts of the organizing team and the
enthusiastic response from the students contributed to the overall success of
the event.

ensuring the smooth participation and encouragement of their children.
