Actors Vidya Malavade, Himanshu Goel,
and Abhishek Chavan along with director Sachin Gupta were in Delhi to promote their upcoming short film “Mahamrityunjay”.
“Mahamrityunjay"
is a poignant short film that revolves around Shivya, a gifted classical dancer
and an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, and her profound connection with her two
devoted brothers. Their unbreakable sibling bond is at the heart of this
narrative. However, the story takes a dramatic turn when tragedy strikes as
Shivya meets with a severe accident while rehearsing for an imminent
performance, plunging her into a deep coma.
Himanshu and
Abhishek are playing Vidya’s brothers in the film. Director Sachin Gupta is a
celebrated National Natya Bhushan awardee filmmaker, esteemed writer, and
visionary theatre director. With a remarkable portfolio of three impactful
movies,18 poignant short films, and numerous captivating music videos alongside
renowned singers, he has left an indelible mark on the industry. Trained in
filmmaking at Lee Strasberg in New York and Canada, his talent has garnered
praise from former presidents and chief ministers. Sachin Gupta has worked with
film industry stalwarts like Dharmendra, Shweta Tiwari, Seema Pahwa,
Zarina Wahab, and Sanjay Mishra.
