Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB will be celebrating Basanta Utsav at the Haringhata Campus on 3rd March 2023 from 1: 30 pm onwards. The programmes will be performed by the students of the university.
Basanta Utsav literally means the
'celebration of spring'. The beautiful tradition of celebrating spring festival
in Bengal was first started by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, at
Vishwa Bharati Shantiniketan, Holi is witnessed in most parts of India and
Basanta Utsav is a beautiful welcome to spring with colors and music, which has
now become an integral part of the Bengali culture.
