Reality shows like "Indian Idol" have given new recognition to many talents in the Indian music industry. One such name is Parleen Gill, who won the hearts of audiences with his voice and unique style through the show. Meanwhile, in an interview Parleen Gill spoke about his career, experiences, and future plans.

He said that his journey was not just about becoming a singer, but it was also a journey of self-discovery and maintaining balance in life.

Parleen Gill said, 'Indian Idol' was a turning point in my life, completely changing both my thinking and my career. At that time, social media wasn't as widespread, and people mostly relied on television. The show gave me a huge platform and opened up a new world of opportunities. Initially, I was preparing to join the army, but after the show, I decided to become a professional singer. This was my first big step, and it marked the beginning of my true journey of self-discovery."

Speaking about his struggles, Parleen said, "I didn't face any difficulties after Indian Idol.' I was only 19 years old at the time and was with Sony Music. I performed constantly in India and abroad. If physical fatigue is considered a struggle, then that was the biggest challenge. Opportunity and hard work together form the foundation of success."

On the experience of performing on international stages, Parleen said, "Indian audiences abroad are more emotionally connected. When they see my performances, they remember their country and their love increases manifold. This experience is very special for me."

Comparing his past and present, Parleen said, "The biggest difference is understanding. During Indian Idol', I was very young and naive, like waves of the ocean flowing without direction. Now I know when to stop, when to move forward and take my journey forward with stability."

He mentioned one of his popular songs, "Banjara," saying that it reflects his personality and that people can understand the core values of his life by listening to it.

"Music will always be a part of my life. My father always says that if your passion becomes your profession, success is certain," said Parleen Gill.
