Rohit (Ayushman Sen) a promising young assistant director joins freelance filmmaker Kamal Ghose (Sanjay Mishra) to assist him in his upcoming project. There he meets Kamal's costume assistant Gulnaaz (Akansha). Time and again they are thrown together for work and the couple slowly fall in love. However, Rohit had not reckoned with Kamal, who has eyes on Gulnaaz himself. It is only a matter of time before Kamal nips their tender love affair in the bud. Rohit also realizes that Kamal is only talking big and his projects are yet to take off.
Aisa Hota Hai Kya is an engaging film. Akansha as Gulnaaz looks fetching and shows promise as an actress. Ayushman as Rohit is good but his hairstyle is an eyesore. Filmmaker Sanjay Mishra makes an effort to come up with an interesting debut as an actor in this short film shot entirely on iPhone 16. We look forward to the sequel to get answers to all our unanswered questions.
