Rohitashv Gour, who is currently seen in Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain!, is the brand ambassador for the cleanliness drive in Himachal Pradesh. Born and brought up in the state, the actor has continued his father’s tradition of organizing dance and drama competitions there, which has left the locals and the media impressed with his work. And to honor him, the state announcer chose him as the brand ambassador of their cleanliness drive.

He said, “I am from Himachal Pradesh, and for the past 69 years, my father has been organizing drama and dance competitions in Shimla. After his passing, my wife, Rekha Gour, and I have continued this tradition. Our connection to Himachal Pradesh runs deep, and the local people and press know us well and are very familiar with our work in Shimla. This year marks the 69th drama dance competition, which will be held at Kaali Baadi and Gaiety Theatre in Shimla.”

“The Governor of Himachal Pradesh and other state ministers will be attending the event. They are already acquainted with us and our work. In 2017, Narendra Modi also recognized our efforts, and I received a letter from his office, so they are well aware of our work. Because of this recognition, I was approached this year on the occasion of World Environment Day. Although I wasn't in Himachal Pradesh on June 5 as I was busy with shooting, they organized a small event for me in their office on June 7. Before that, we had already started a campaign there. Naturally, I was very happy about this recognition. When the mayor, a high-ranking government official, personally invites you to such an event in a tourist season in a place like Shimla, it is indeed a matter of joy,” he added.

The actor was thrilled to be invited by the Himachal Pradesh government. He said, “It felt great to be part of this, combining the drama dance competition with the official event. A lot is happening in my life right now, and I am very pleased with how things are going.”

Rohitashv says even the producer of his show, Binaiferr, is very particular about cleanliness on the set. He added, “We maintain a strict routine for keeping the place clean. She was also very happy when I shared the link with her.”

The actor also shared that Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain! has added a lot to his life. He said, “Many people in Himachal Pradesh, including common folks, recognize me because of this show. It's well-known in every household. No matter where I go, whether to meet a commissioner or invite someone, people immediately recognize me and react with excitement, saying, ‘Oh, you're here; that's wonderful!’ Everyone knows me because of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, and all this recognition is thanks to the show.”
