In the run-up to World Music Day on June 21, Wisdom Tree café saw a gathering of like-minded souls keen to immerse themselves in the music of Bengali films from the era of Pankaj Kumar Mullick to Bappi Lahiri on the evening of June 14.

Chanda curated a unique event ‘Surer Jharna’ held from June 14 to 16 where
music stalwarts held forth on music and glanced through an exhibition featuring
film posters, booklets, music magazines, advertisements, records and music
company catalogues of the bygone era.
